How to look after your Aloe Vera
Requires Bright Indirect Sun. Does well in a West or South facing window.
Water Aloes deeply but infrequently. Allow soil to dry out completely before watering.
Keep Aloes at a comfortable room temperature between 13-27 degrees celcius.
Feed with a houseplant fertliser once a month in the summer and not at all during the winter.
History of Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera is one of the oldest plants that we have on record and has been used for its medicinal and cosmetic properties for thousands of years. It is so popular and widely grown all over the globe that its ancestral home remains a mystery to this day.
It became a staple in ancient Chinese and Egyptian medicine and was used to treat burns, soothe wounds and reduce inflammation and fever.
Benefits of Aloe Vera
Aloe Vera has antibacterial and antioxidant properties making it a favourite for soothing skincare ailments like sunburn.
Cosmetically, it is infused into skincare products to help aid in the reduction of wrinkles and fine lines and increases the skins hydration level ten-fold. It also contains many beneficial enzymes as well as Vitamin A and C.
This ability to nourish and hydrate makes it a favourite for skin care and hair care fans as it improves dry skin and hair after only one use.

I usually buy scented candles that are quite subtle in nature but decided to be adventurous and purchased the candle gift set leaving the choice to Earth and Vine. The scents are are not what I would usually get but smell delicious. Absolutely lovely.

My Ficus Ginseng Bonsai arrived in good condition. Delivery was really prompt my plant arrived the next day! The plant is continuing to grow really well. My aloe Vera plant arrived looking healthy and in good condition.
