Monstera 101
Light

Monstera's can adapt to almost all light conditions. They can withstand small amounts of bright direct light as well as low light.

For optimal happiness and growth, we'd recommend a space that gets bright indirect light to avoid scorching its beautiful leaves and to get the most growth.

Brown Tips

Brown spots and crispy edges indicate a thirsty plant. Use a moisture meter or stick your finger down to the second knuckle into the soil. If your finger come out dry then it's time for a drink. If your finger is covered in wet soil then it's best to leave it alone.

Yellowing Leaves

Yellow leaves are one of the first signs of stress. This can be caused by temperature shock, improper watering, nutrient issues, or even pests.

Drooping Leaves

Drooping leaves are almost always a watering problem. Check your plants soil for poor drainage or signs of root rot. If your roots are trying to escape through the drainage holes then it may also be a sign that it's time to repot.
